About Us
Get Roped In is a rope bondage project started by Merinth0 and Leo to create safe spaces for teaching, labbing and skill sharing. From the first ever rope experience to suspension, and everything in between, Get Roped In creates spaces for rope enthusiasts and beginners alike.
Currently running monthly classes in the Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire area, each focusing on a theme and providing hands on teaching and practice time.
Our Story
Get Roped In was created by Merin and Leo in 2024 following huge support and encouragement from their local kink community.
It began with a conversation after a weekend long shibari workshop about how cool it would be to provide rope workshops and classes to our local community. What started as a one of chat became a conversation topic that would repeat many times over the following months.
In 2024 Merin and Leo began to reach out to friends and their local community, trying to gauge interest in workshops or classes. They were overwhelmed by the positivity, support and encouragement they received and began to realise their chat may become a reality after all.
After finding a venue and a whirlwind of preparation and organisation, the first ever Get Roped In workshop tickets went up for sale and, to Merin and Leo's disbelief, sold out in just 14 days.
Now the Cambridgeshire classes are a monthly occurrence, with a growing community of friendly rope enthusiasts and beginners. With fun, themed classes each month and special one off workshops, Get Roped In is now a thriving rope project.
In 2025 Get Roped In was approached with an exciting opportunity to expand their list of venues and begin to offer classes and workshops in Lincolnshire, something that Merin and Leo jumped at.
With a thriving community, a busy schedule Get Roped In had one more expansion project in mind. After multiple queries about where to source good quality ropes and how to treat and prepare them, Get Roped In took a leap and opened their own online store, selling lovingly dyed and treated natural fibre ropes.
